I actually agree with Selena. Following her for years, there's something different I haven't heard in her voice in Spanish. The tone and mood of the song fitted her very well and the pronunciation of Spanish suited her.

As a bilingual person, I can tell you that the difference is that her voice sounds deeper in English and higher in Spanish... I don’t know the scientific explanation haha but this happens to a lot of people (like me) 🤗
